As a third-generation hairstylist with over 18 years of experience, Tyler has built a reputation for creating beautiful, personalized hair while delivering an elevated salon experience. His career began in fashion, working at Nordstrom's Seattle Flagship Store, where he developed a keen eye for style, trends, and helping clients look and feel their best.

After training at Seattle's prestigious Gary Manuel Aveda Institute, Tyler worked in one of Elle Magazine's Top 100 Salons before building a successful clientele in Seattle's vibrant Pike/Pine district. He later served as a Northwest educator and brand representative for professional haircare brands, sharing advanced color, cutting, and styling techniques with stylists throughout the region.

In 2016, Tyler founded Parkway Modern Salon with a vision of blending exceptional artistry, modern trends, and genuine hospitality. Building on that success, he expanded Parkway Modern Salon to Bellingham in 2019, creating a destination where guests can enjoy exceptional services in a welcoming and approachable environment.

Committed to ongoing education and excellence, Tyler has trained with industry leaders including Kim Vo, Kevin Murphy, Dot Hachey, Felicity Davis, Gary Manuel, and renowned celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham. Specializing in dimensional blonding, lived-in color, modern gray coverage, and customized transformations, Tyler's mission is to help every guest feel confident, refreshed, and authentically themselves.
