Tyler is a third generation hairstylist who has worked with some of the most distinguished stylists in the industry. Starting his career in the fashion and styling industry, Tyler worked for the Nordstrom Company. By working directly under the buying office, Tyler gained insight on selecting and transforming mainstream and high-end fashion into everyday wear. Despite his love for fashion and design,Tyler has known that hairstyling was his true calling since he was a young boy. After a transformational experience living in Los Angeles, Tyler returned to Seattle and enrolled in the prestigious Gary Manuel Aveda Institute.

Since completing his certification +15 years ago, Tyler has worked for an 'Elle magazine; top 100 salon.’ Tyler then moved his business to Downtown Seattle, right in the middle of the fashionable and eclectic Pike & Pine corridor. Tyler has been the NW Educator and brand representative for some exclusive high-end haircare brands. Where he called on his technical and styling expertise to teach numerous students and stylist across the Northwest about various techniques and trends. In 2016 Tyler opened PARKWAY MODERN SALON in Tacoma, Washington and in 2019 opened a second location in Bellingham, Washington.

He has also worked backstage at fashion shows, movie sets, countless weddings and some very special nursing homes. Among many other talented stylists, Tyler has trained with; Kim Vo, Dot Hachey, Kevin Murphy, Gary Manuel, Felicity Davis and top celebrity hair colorist, Tracey Cunningham.
